Rick Polk began their career in 1974 as an Operations Draftsman and R&D Department Intern at Lakeside Games, a Division of Leisure Dynamics. In 1979, they moved to Leisure Dynamics Divisions, Lakeside Games, Cox Hobbies, K&B, and Sanwa Radios as a Retail Merchandiser and Sales. In 1982, they were promoted to Manager at Cox Hobbies, a Division of Leisure Dynamics. In 1983, they became the Marketing Manager at Lakeside Games, a Division of Leisure Dynamics. In 1985, they were promoted to VP of R&D and a member of the Operating Committee with responsibility for new product acquisition, design, engineering, model shop and packaging at Lakeside Games, a Division of Leisure Dynamics. Rick initiated the successful sale of the company to Coleco. In 1986, they founded WhiteBoard Product Solutions, Minnesota's largest full service product development company, where they served as President and CEO. Rick was also involved in the day to day operations with a focus on the continued evolvement of the company's product development process and staff to meet the diverse needs of its clients. At the same time, they were President of Leisure Product Solutions. Theirproducts focus included Medical Devices, Toys, Fitness, Sporting Goods, Housewares, Hardware, Electronics and Soft Goods.
Rick Polk has no formal education history or certifications. Rick has, however, attended two schools, Form Follows Reality! and Leisure Dynamics.
