Brian Hampton

Brian Hampton, CFA has over 20 years of experience in various roles in the financial industry. Brian is currently serving as the Managing Director - Business Development at Whitebox Advisors LLC since April 2022. Prior to this, they held the position of Director, Marketing & Investor Relations at Carlson Capital, L.P. from October 2015 to November 2021. Brian also served as the Head of Marketing & Investor Relations at SeaStone Capital from August 2013 to March 2015. Additionally, they worked as the Director of Investor Relations at Severn River Capital from May 2012 to February 2013. Before joining Severn River Capital, they worked as the Director of Marketing / Chief Operating Officer at Emerson Capital from January 2010 to May 2012. Brian has also worked as the Director of Marketing at Boomerang Capital from May 2002 to August 2009. Prior to transitioning to the financial industry, Brian served as a First Lieutenant, Infantry in the Army National Guard from November 2001 to 2009. Brian started their career in the financial industry as a Marketing / Investor Relations professional at JH Whitney & Co. from 1999 to 2002.

Brian Hampton, CFA holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Rhode Island. Brian also has additional certifications including the Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst (CAIA) from the CAIA Association and the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) from the CFA Institute.
