Gabriel Xu Liu

Gabriel Xu Liu has extensive experience in finance and trading roles. Gabriel Xu started as an Assistant VP/Trader at ICBC LTD in February 2013 and worked there until July 2014. Gabriel Xu then joined J.P. Morgan as a Trader from July 2014 to May 2017. Following that, they worked at Credit Suisse as a Vice President Trader, focusing on structured products repo trading and funding from May 2017 to December 2018. Currently, Gabriel is the Head of Portfolio Finance and Treasury at Whitebox Advisors LLC, where they manage portfolio finance, liquidity and cash management, FX hedging, and securities lending.

Gabriel Xu Liu completed their Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree at Cornell Johnson Graduate School of Management from 2010 to 2012. Additionally, they obtained certifications including the IBM Data Science Specialization from Coursera in July 2020. Gabriel Xu also holds certifications in Series 55, Series 63, and Series 7 from FINRA, but the exact dates of obtaining these certifications are not provided.
