Randy Looy

Randy Looy, P.Eng, PMP, has extensive experience in the oil and gas industry, currently serving as a Plant Operator at Whitecap Resources Inc. since May 2018, where responsibilities include operating steam generation and water treatment processes. Prior to this role, Randy worked as a Consultant for Hiker Petroleum Inc., managing new company start-ups, and as a Senior Exploitation Engineer at Penn West, leading significant development programs. Earlier positions include Production Engineer and Exploitation Engineer roles at Anderson Energy Ltd., NAV Energy Trust, Canadian Natural Resources Limited, Rio Alto Exploration, and Anderson Exploration Limited, with a focus on optimization strategies, asset management, and successful project implementations. Randy holds a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from the University of Calgary and a 3rd Class Power Engineering certification from the Southern Alberta Institute of Technology.
