Andrea Ziemer-Masefield has a strong background in event management and coordination. Andrea is currently the Head of Events at Whitechapel Gallery, a position they have held since September 2023. Prior to that, they worked as a Freelance Event Manager from February 2022 to September 2023, and as an Event Manager at Mercuri Urval from February 2022 to September 2023. Andrea took a career break from November 2021 to February 2022. Before that, they worked as an Events Manager at the Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew from June 2019 to November 2021. Andrea Ziemer-Masefield obtained a Bachelor's degree in Classical Civilisation and Archaeology from the University of Nottingham, where they studied from 2005 to 2008.
