Joy Pangilinan

Joy Pangilinan has worked as a Software Engineer at White Cloak Technologies, Inc. since July 2019. In this role, they have contributed as a Backend Engineer to the client-based website, created RESTful APIs, and worked on maintenance and enhancements for existing APIs. Joy has also built an in-house Online Learning Platform using Node Express, GraphQL, MongoDB, and Auth0, and refactored Core Monoliths to build microservices. Prior to this, they had a brief role as a Software Engineer Trainee at the same company.

Before joining White Cloak Technologies, Inc., Joy worked as a Web Developer Intern at Pierre and Paul Solutions from August 2018 to November 2018. In this role, they developed and designed the company website from scratch and developed a content management system for the website.

Joy Pangilinan obtained their Bachelor's degree in Information Technology from Bulacan State University, where they studied from 2015 to 2019. In addition to their degree, they have also earned several certifications. In June 2022, they obtained a certification in Java from TestDome. Joy also holds a Scrum Foundation Professional Certificate (SFPC) from CertiProf, which they obtained in August 2020. Furthermore, in June 2020, they completed a certification in Visual Elements of User Interface Design from the California Institute of the Arts.
