Katie Zemel is an accomplished Career Coach at Flatiron School since November 2016, providing one-on-one counseling and support to students in their job search efforts, along with managing a pipeline of job-seeking individuals. Katie empowers students by enhancing their core job search skills, including interviewing and resume preparation, and assisting them in leveraging their networks for opportunities. Additional experience includes roles as a PSIA Certified Ski Instructor and Zip Line Guide at Whitefish Mountain Resort, a Prep Cook at Stanford Sierra Conference Center, a Social Worker II at El Dorado County Child Protective Services, and previous positions at Heavenly Mountain Resort, Carnegie Mellon University, and Junior Achievement of the National Capital Area. Katie holds a Bachelor's degree in Ethics, History, and Public Policy, with a minor in Art from Carnegie Mellon University.
