Christopher J. Ferrari-Steele

Vice President of Engineering at WhiteFox Defense Technologies

Christopher J. Ferrari-Steele has over 25 years of experience in the engineering and software industries. From 1993 to 2001, they worked at HP in various roles such as Design Engineer, Systems Engineer, and Quality Engineer. During this time, they were responsible for board and system-level design for improvements to new and existing products, introducing new technologies to the production environment, and project management. In 2001, they moved to Intel Corporation, where they were promoted from individual contributor to Manager to Director within four years. At Intel, they were responsible for managing personnel and projects across several Intel incubator and established divisions.

In 2006, they moved to Cortina Systems, Inc. as a Senior Department Manager, where they designed, developed, and implemented different technologies to increase the competency of company operations. Christopher J. supervised the efficiency and workflow processes with a 10x decrease in process time and significant improvements in quality. Christopher J. also led and developed an international team of professional programmers and learning-products.

From 2011 to 2012, Christopher worked at Steele Technical Solutions as a Small Business Owner, where they marketed their skills and value-add, negotiated contracts for specialized projects, and developed courseware and reference documentation related to the operation and maintenance of a sophisticated highly-custom mission-critical global hardware/software solution.

From 2012 to 2019, they worked at PASCO scientific in various roles such as Software Engineering Manager, Business Systems Manager, and SaaS Product Manager. During this time, they were responsible for the PASCO Scientific e-Curriculum Technologies (Ed-Tech) product line. Christopher J. also managed the product launch of several software revisions.

In 2019, Christopher moved to WhiteFox Defense Technologies, Inc. as Vice President of Engineering and Head of Product. In this role, they were responsible for the WhiteFox DroneFox flagship-product line. Christopher J. managed the initial release of the product and was responsible for overall User Experience, Product Definition, Roadmap, and cross-functional engagement.

Christopher J. Ferrari-Steele is currently enrolled in Northwestern University's Kellogg School of Management, studying Product Strategy. Christopher J. has also attended California State University, where they studied Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Communication Studies, and Organizational Leadership. Additionally, Christopher has studied Leadership, Mentoring, Coaching, and Emotional Intelligence at Clarity Academy of Spiritual Arts, as well as Electrical Engineering and Philosophy at the University of Bradford.
