Robert MacGregor has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Robert worked as a Full Stack Developer at WhiteFox Defense Technologies, Inc. from 2023 to the present. Prior to that, they were a Software Engineer at United States Steel Corporation from March 2022 to May 2022, and at Cook Medical from July 2021 to November 2021. After graduating from high school, Robert enrolled in Pittsburgh Technical College from 2014 to 2016. Here, they pursued a degree in Computer Programming and obtained an Associate's degree.

In addition to their formal education, Robert has also received several certifications. In 2011, they obtained the IT Essentials: PC Hardware and Software certification from Cisco. In 2012, they earned the CCNA Discovery: Networking for Home and Small Businesses certification, followed by the CCNA Discovery: Working at a Small-to-Medium Business or ISP certification in 2013, both from Cisco.
