The skilled nursing and rehabilitation facility was one of only 32 eligible facilities to receive the award in Florida. Whitehall Boca Raton is also the American Therapeutic Recreation Association's 2012 recipient of the highest award presented to an organization or institution for its advocacy and support of services to individual with disabilities—a distinction never before granted to a nursing home by the 30-year-old association.
