Zach Wright

Board Member at WHITEHALL CITY SCHOOL DISTRICT

Zach Wright is a graduate from Whitehall-Yearling High School in 1979, Wright has been a resident of Whitehall for over 54 years. He spent 28 years of his professional career as a math teacher for Whitehall City Schools and is currently a freshman class advisor for St. Charles Preparatory School. Wright received his bachelor’s degree (mathematics education) from Capital University in 1983 and his master’s degree (instructional design and technology) from The Ohio State University in 1993.

In addition to teaching, Wright has an extensive coaching and athletics background. He was the head varsity track coach and the assistant boys varsity basketball coach at WYHS for 30 and 25 years respectively. He recently resigned after serving 18 years on the Whitehall Parks and Recreation Commission representing Whitehall City Schools.
