William Elvington has over 12 years of experience in the IT industry. From 2006 to 2018, they have held various roles at IBM Global Services, Sanmina-SCI, Sabre Holdings, Citrix, Citi, and Whitehat Virtual Technologies. In 2006, they began their career as an Intern: IT Specialist at IBM Global Services. In 2007, they were an Intern: Project Development at Sanmina-SCI. In 2008, they were an Intern: Project management, Business Analyst, and Developer at Sabre Holdings. From 2010 to 2016, they held various roles at Citrix, including Principal Consultant, Senior Consultant, and Staff Consultant. During this time, they were responsible for leading all phases of consulting engagements, performing risk assessments, and designing highly available global solutions. In 2016, they became a Remote Access Engineer at Citi, where they were responsible for architecting Remote Access solutions and Bring Your Own Device access to virtual application and VDI environments. Finally, in 2018, they became a Cloud Enterprise Architect at Whitehat Virtual Technologies, where they conducted meetings with project stakeholders and early adopters to drive new product and service adoption, and developed automation and monitoring solutions to reduce support staff and admin workload.

William Elvington received a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics and Electrical Engineering from Southern Methodist University in 2008, as well as a minor in Computer Science. William also holds certifications from Citrix, including Citrix Certified Expert - Apps and Desktops (obtained in April 2014), Citrix Certified Professional - Apps and Desktops (obtained in January 2014), and Citrix Certified Enterprise Engineer. Additionally, they have a Microsoft Certified IT Professional certification.
