Greg Singh

Greg Singh is an accomplished tax professional with extensive experience in the mining industry. Currently serving as the General Manager of Taxation at Whitehaven Coal since October 2018, Greg oversees tax compliance, advice, risk management, and governance for the company. Prior to this role, Greg held various senior tax positions at Anglo American from 2005 to 2018, where responsibilities included managing tax compliance and governance across multiple countries and tax types in the Asia Pacific region. Additionally, Greg served as a Senior Taxation Adviser at Placer Dome Gold, focusing on tax management in Australia and the Asia Pacific. Greg's career began at EY, where Greg progressed through various levels to Manager, providing tax compliance and advisory services primarily to clients in the mining sector. Academically, Greg holds a Bachelor of Commerce in Accounting and Finance from Griffith University and is a Chartered Tax Adviser.
