Lachlan Gill

Lachlan Gill is a seasoned electrical engineer with extensive experience in the mining sector. Currently serving as a Project Electrical Engineer at Whitehaven Coal since April 2023, Lachlan has a solid background with Glencore where roles included Projects & Surface Co-ordinator and Electrical Co-ordinator from September 2013 to April 2023. Prior experience includes serving as Longwall Electrical Co-ordinator at Xstrata Coal from January 2010 to August 2013 and Electrician from January 2007 to January 2010, following an Electrical Apprenticeship at Xstrata Coal that spanned from January 2003 to December 2006. Educational qualifications include an Advanced Diploma in Electrical Engineering from TAFE NSW and a Higher School Certificate from Merriwa Central School.
