Dylan SERILLON

Dylan Serillon has a strong background in research and computational biology. Dylan currently serves as the Team Leader of Structural Biology at WhiteLab Genomics since March 2023. Prior to that, they were the R&D Project Manager of Computational Biology & Data Science at the same company from June 2022 to April 2023.

From September 2019 to June 2022, Dylan worked as a Research Scientist at Universitat de Barcelona. Dylan'sresponsibilities included constructing an automated platform for computational exploration of host-guest complexes and conducting binding free energy and behavior predictions using molecular dynamics and quantum mechanics methods.

Before joining Universitat de Barcelona, Dylan worked as a Research Scientist at Mind The Byte from October 2018 to September 2019. Dylan also gained experience as an Intern Research Scientist at Sanofi R&D from January 2018 to July 2018, where they focused on the dynamics of Amyloid β-peptides and used machine learning algorithms for peptide docking.

Dylan holds a Master's degree in In silico Drug Design from University Paris Diderot, which they obtained from September 2017 to June 2018. During this time, they also completed an internship as a Research Scientist at the Institute of Organic and Analytical Chemistry - ICOA UMR7311 from January 2017 to June 2017, and a voluntary research internship at the Functionality and Protein Engineering Unit (UMR CNRS 6286) from February 2017 to April 2017.

Additionally, Dylan has experience as a Polyvalent Hall Employee at Cinéville Katorza from 2012-2016, a Pharmacy Technician at EURL PHARMACIE DES PLAGES in July-August 2014, and a voluntary research internship at Targets and Drugs of Infections and Cancer (IICIMED EA1155) from April 2015 to July 2015, where they focused on organic synthesis and the synthesis of molecular probes.

Dylan Serillon (PharmD, PhD) began their education in 2011 at the Faculty of Pharmacie of Nantes, where they obtained a Pharmaceutical doctorate (Pharm D) in Pharmaceutical Science, which they completed in 2017. In 2017, they pursued further studies at Université Paris Cité and obtained a Master degree in In Silico Drug Design, which lasted until 2018. From 2018 to 2022, Dylan attended the University of Strasbourg, where they obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Computational Chemistry.
