Jon Edwards has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies and roles. Jon started their career as a General Manager at TMF, where they were responsible for various operational aspects of the company. Jon then worked as a Project Manager at Allied Steel Fabricators before transitioning to a role as VP of Sales and Marketing at Pro CNC Inc., where they led a team and played a key role in strategy and customer service.

After Pro CNC Inc. was acquired by Trulife, Jon continued in sales as a Sales Engineer and eventually became the VP of Sales and Marketing. During this time, they focused on improving on-time delivery and quality of work.

Jon then became self-employed and worked on small-scale client projects as a Fullstack Mobile and Web Engineer. Jon also worked on an IoT project and helped a client transition to a new CMS.

Jon later joined UpTop as a Software Developer and gradually took on more responsibilities, becoming a Development Team Lead, a Product Development Manager, and finally a Senior Software Engineer. At UpTop, they worked on full-stack projects for clients and in-house projects, providing feedback on project efforts and design input.

After leaving UpTop, Jon worked as a Full Stack Developer for Buddy Technologies at Bluehawk Consulting. Jon worked on both internal products and client projects.

Their most recent position is as a Lead Senior Software Engineer, Web & Mobile Apps at Whitepages. Currently, they are also serving as an Engineering Manager.

Throughout their career, Jon has gained experience in various aspects of software engineering including development, team leadership, project management, and product development.

Jon Edwards completed an Associate's Degree in General Studies at Olympic College between 1999 and 2003. In 2015, they received a Certificate in Full Stack Web Development from The Coding House Institute. A year later, in 2016, Jon attended Thinkful for a short-term course in Programming in Python. Currently, in 2023, they are pursuing a Nanodegree in AI Programming with Python at Udacity.
