Frances Irvine

Head of Client Services at Whitespace

Frances Irvine has been with Whitespace since April 2012 and is currently their Head of Client Services and Associate Board Director. During their time with the company, they have been responsible for leading the growth of Whitespace as an independent agency through an acquisition and four-year transition to Dentsu Creative. Frances is accountable to their fellow board members for client satisfaction and has inputted into the company's financial projects and annual budgets.

Irvine has also been responsible for leading, managing and developing a team of twenty account managers to ensure the effective delivery of client projects, both online and offline. Frances oversees all work going through the team, adding strategic overview where appropriate, and is responsible for the growth and retention of the team. In addition, they are responsible for all proposals, estimates, timing plans and creative briefs drafted by the team, ensuring client satisfaction with all outputs and proactively developing client relationships.

Finally, Irvine heads up Whitespace's Diversity, Equity and Inclusion programme and contributes to the UK&I DEI Council for dentsu UK. Frances is also a member of the Parents and Carers committee and lead for Whitespace Women - an initiative to support women entering the creative industries.

Frances Irvine reports to Iain Valentine, Managing Partner. Some direct reports include Alysha Wilkie - Senior Account Manager, Claire Stephenson - Account Director, and Blair Grieve - Account Director. They are on a team with Oliver Jackson - Head of Development, Alex Turnbull - Head of User Experience, and Ríona Ní Bhrolcháin - UX Producer.
