Conor Power

Conor Power is a seasoned finance professional with extensive experience in asset management, private equity, and structured credit. Currently serving as Managing Director at WhiteStar Asset Management since December 2021, which manages approximately $70 billion in assets under management. Previously, Conor held the position of Managing Director at MacKay Shields LLC, co-heading the European Leveraged Loan business and managing European CLOs. Conor's background includes significant roles at the Ireland Strategic Investment Fund as Investment Director for Private Equity, KKR as a Portfolio Manager, and Avoca Capital as Director, where responsibilities included credit management and corporate development. Conor began a career in finance at KPMG Advisory, focusing on insolvency and restructuring. Conor is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants Ireland and holds a degree in Commerce, Accounting and Finance from the University of Galway.
