Mike Ewton

Dr. Mike Ewton has a passion for education and a deeply vested interest in Whitfield County Schools and our community. He is a 1989 graduate of Northwest Whitfield High School and with the exception of four years of military service has lived in the area all his life.

Dr. Ewton is beginning his eighteenth year as a district level administrator at Whitfield County Schools. Prior to being named Superintendent, he held positions as the Director of Safety, Security and Transportation, Chief Operations Officer, and Assistant Superintendent for Operations and Student Services.

As Superintendent, Dr. Ewton plans to continue leading the district on its positive trajectory while always seeking constant improvement for the benefit of our students and the community as a whole.
