Tim Shaver

Tim Shaver is the Director of Technology at Whitfield County Schools. Tim has been in this role since July 2014, and previously served as the network administrator from November 2006 to July 2014. In their current role, Tim manages the Whitfield County Schools firewall, webfilter, virtual server, SANs, all physical servers, all switch configs, and wireless.

Prior to working at Whitfield County Schools, Tim was in the IT field for 10 years. Tim has a Bachelor's degree in Information Technology from DeVry University.

Tim Shaver reports to Mike Ewton, Superintendent. They work with Scott W. Houston - Director, Professional Learning, Sharon Kenerly - Human Resources Director, and Kathy Mashburn - Administrative Assistant.
