Denise Hill

Denise Hill is an accomplished legal and academic professional with extensive experience in health law, mediation, and education. Currently serving as an Associate Professor at Drake University since July 2017, Denise also holds the position of Of Counsel Attorney/Mediator at Whitfield & Eddy Law, where the focus is on health law, administrative law, and corporate law. Previously, Denise was the Director of Health Law Programs at Drake Law School and an Associate Professor at Des Moines University, imparting knowledge on health law and ethics across various graduate programs. Earlier roles include Attorney at the Davis Brown Law Firm and in-house counsel for the Iowa Medical Society, along with legal positions within the Iowa Department of Personnel. Denise holds a JD from Drake University Law School, an MPA from Drake University, and a BA from Wartburg College, complementing a strong academic foundation with professional training in mediation and arbitration.
