Gary Merchan

Gary Merchan is a seasoned project manager with extensive experience in the construction and engineering sectors. With a career spanning from May 1999 to September 2016, Gary held various positions including Project Manager and LEED Accredited Professional at The Whiting-Turner Contracting Company, where leadership roles included Diversity & Inclusion Lead and representative for the Society of Hispanic Professional Engineers in the Southeast. Prior to that, Gary worked as a Project Engineer at Bermello, Ajamil & Partners and served as an Assistant Project Manager at The University of Miami's Physical Plant. Early career experience includes an internship at J. E. Brenman Consulting Engineers. Gary holds a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering and a Bachelor of Science in Architectural Engineering from the University of Miami.
