Sarah Lawson

Sarah Lawson, LICSW, currently serves as the Supervisor of Youth Mental Health at Whitman-Walker Health, a position held since September 2019. Lawson's previous experience includes roles as a Staff Social Worker/Therapist at The DC Center and a Behavioral Health Clinical Intern at Whitman-Walker Health. Earlier professional endeavors encompass a range of positions, including Manager of Grants & Social Media and Clinical Social Work Intern at Safe Shores - The DC Children's Advocacy Center, along with various roles at Collective Action for Safe Spaces and The Madeira School. Lawson holds a Master's Degree in Social Work from the University of Maryland School of Social Work and a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism from Indiana University Bloomington.
