Philip Kao

Philip Kao is an experienced Engineer and Project Manager currently employed at Whitman since May 2014. Prior to this role, Philip served as a Research Assistant at Rutgers University from July 2013 to June 2014 and worked as a Project Scientist at Aerotek/Weston Solutions, Inc. from October 2010 to October 2011, supporting groundwater sampling activities for natural gas drilling. Philip's earlier experience includes a tenure as Senior Project Manager at AEI Consultants from October 2006 to February 2008, where responsibilities included managing a Site Mitigation department and overseeing environmental remediation projects. Additionally, from December 2002 to September 2006, Philip worked as an Environmental Scientist at The Shaw Group, conducting subsurface investigations and training staff in contamination remediation practices. Philip holds a Bachelor's degree in Civil & Environmental Engineering and a Master's degree in Urban Planning from Rutgers University, as well as a Bachelor of Arts in Environmental Science from the University of California, Berkeley.
