Wendy Barbee-Lowell has extensive experience in the museum sector, currently serving as the Assistant Director of Visitor and Member Experience at the Whitney Museum of American Art since November 2004. In this role, Wendy has integrated three departments into a unified team focused on enhancing visitor experiences, sales, and service, while also driving audience growth and earned revenue within the Marketing Division. Prior to this position, Wendy held the role of Senior Manager of Visitor Services at the Whitney Museum, bringing nearly 20 years of experience in managing premier cultural institutions. Wendy's earlier career includes managing visitor services at the American Folk Art Museum and various positions at The Paley Center for Media, including Associate for Special Events and Group Visits Coordinator. Wendy is an alumna of New York University.
