Laura Bisogno

Laura Bisogno, PhD, is a seasoned medical writer and consultant at Whitsell Innovations, Inc. since June 2022. Prior to this role, Laura served as a postdoctoral fellow at the National Institute of Environmental Health Sciences from April 2018 to June 2022 and at Duke University from August 2010 to March 2018, during which Laura held positions as a postdoctoral research fellow and graduate research assistant. Additional experience includes a regulatory affairs internship at Duke Translational Medicine Institute in 2016, serving as an Amgen Fellow at UCSF in 2009, and a summer fellowship at the Institute for Genome Science and Policy in 2008, as well as an REU internship at the University of Florida in 2007. Laura earned a PhD in Genetics and Genomics from Duke University between 2010 and 2017, following a Bachelor of Science in Molecular Biology from Montclair State University from 2006 to 2010.
