Stephen Carlson

Stephen Carlson is a seasoned medical writer and consultant at Whitsell Innovations, Inc. since April 2016. Prior to this role, Stephen completed a postdoctoral fellowship at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill from January 2010 to December 2015, focusing on the cellular mechanisms of alcohol dependence and withdrawal, specifically studying GABAA inhibitory signaling changes after alcohol exposure through various scientific approaches. Stephen holds a Ph.D. in Neuroscience from the University of Miami (2005 - 2010) and a B.S. in Biology with a minor in Chemistry from Belmont University (2001 - 2005).
