Murray Whittaker

Murray Whittaker is the Director of Projects at Whittaker Engineering Ltd, a position held since August 2011, where responsibilities include managing special and on-site/offshore projects. Prior to this, Murray served as Project Engineer at Whittaker Engineering, overseeing all on-site/offshore projects. Experience in the gas turbine industry includes a role as Project Engineer and Workshop Foreman at Alba Power from August 2006 to August 2011, as well as earlier experience as a Gas Turbine Technician. Murray's foundational training began at RWG (Repair & Overhauls) Limited, where a four-year modern apprenticeship was completed followed by two years as a workshop-based Gas Turbine Technician. Murray holds an HND in Mechanical Engineering from North East Scotland College, earned between 2000 and 2005.
