Tiffany Dean

Tiffany is an expert in board governance, with more than two decades at non-profits and the higher education sector. She has led boards to drive change and achieve improvements in such areas as board- and individual-assessments, the CEO-board chair partnership, board meeting planning, enterprise risk management, strategic planning, board fundraising objectives, governance structure, diversity, equity, and inclusion, as well as member recruitment, orientation, and retention.

A native of Portland, OR, Tiffany graduated from Whittier College in 1997 and majored in political science, was a member of Pi Sigma Alpha honor society, the tennis team, and the Metaphonian Society.

At AGB, Tiffany Dean was responsible for the development and delivery of comprehensive programs and services for the boards of public institutionally related foundations and their CEOs to support their governance responsibilities and fiduciary duties. At Oregon State University Foundation, she served as corporate secretary, maintaining the corporate records, advising on policy and procedural matters, governance, and communications pertaining to the board.
