Abhishek Kumar has been working in the field of data engineering since 2012. In 2012, they were a Summer Trainee at Steel Authority of India Limited, where they had an opportunity to learn about the various operations involved in steel production and in-depth analysis of production and sales of the various products manufactured in the plant. In 2013, they were an Intern at Altair. From 2014 to 2016, they worked at Infosys as a System Engineer, where they implemented machine learning algorithms for hypothesis and predictive analysis in Python and R, and formulated POC for various clients based on Hadoop ecosystem. From 2016 to 2017, they worked at Sokrati as a Data Analyst and Business Analyst, where they were part of the innovations team to explore new business ventures and deliver insights and actionables to the clients. From 2017 to 2018, they worked at Merkle Sokrati as a Senior Data Analyst. Currently, they are working at whiz.ai as a Data Engineer.

Abhishek Kumar completed their Matriculation from Christ Church High School between 1997 and 2007, focusing on Mathematics. abhishek then went on to pursue their HSC from Patna Muslim High School between 2007 and 2009, again focusing on Mathematics. abhishek then completed their Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) in Mechanical Engineering from Indian Institute of Information Technology, Design and Manufacturing, Jabalpur between 2010 and 2014. In 2015, they obtained the Google Tag Manager Fundamentals certification from Google.
