Kara Smith

Kara Smith is a seasoned professional in inventory planning and category management, currently serving as Senior Team Lead for Inventory Planning at Whole Foods Market since April 2022. In this role, Kara supports a team of eight in tasks related to forecasting, demand planning, and assortment publishing for all Grocery categories. Prior to this position, Kara had a lengthy tenure at Whole Foods Market from July 1996 to July 2021, where responsibilities included serving as a Category Buyer for Body Care & Supplements as well as working as a Purchasing Assistant.
