Whole Mother Therapy

At Whole Mother Therapy we are committed to serving the community’s parents and parents-to-be as they navigate the challenges that arise throughout the journey from conception to pregnancy and postpartum life. We aren’t meant to parent in isolation, and our hope is that we can be a nurturing, supportive resource throughout your experience. While we focus on parents in the BIPOC community, our primary goal at Whole Mother Therapy is building a collaborative community that embraces all humans, so we work with femmes from all backgrounds whether they are parents or not. We are advocates for sex positivity and queer culture, and we cater to veterans and LGBTQ+ humans. We believe in a holistic approach to therapy that integrates the body and mind, the psyche and the unconscious. We believe that no one should go through the life-changing process of trying to conceive, pregnancy, and postpartum alone. We believe that in order to be the type of parents we wish to be, we need a welcoming space to work through our insecurities and triggers. We believe that no one experiences life or parenting in a social or political vacuum, so all of our practitioners bring an intersectional perspective. We believe that systemic racism, socioeconomic factors, cultural influences, and societal values impact our personal and collective experiences, whether we’re parents or not. We believe that it is essential to weave all these elements into therapy as they inevitably affect pregnancy, postpartum, and parenting. Our therapists and associates have a comprehensive array of specialties and experiences that inform the therapeutic process, and we are passionate about guiding you through the challenges and ordeals that are unique to your lived experience. We also provide comprehensive services for folx who are not pregnant or parents. Regardless of where you are in your life or what you are struggling with, we can help you connect to a more authentic, whole version of yourself.
