Juan José Besa Vergara

Juan José Besa Vergara is a Co-Founder and CTO of Wird since March 2011. In this role, they are responsible for creating and developing innovative products, developing customer and product strategies, and managing teams of product development and software engineers.

Additionally, they are currently Director and Secretary General of Asociación de Emprendedores de Chile (Asech) since December 2021.

Previously, they worked as an Engineer of Projects at SIRVE Ingeniería from July 2010 to December 2010.

Juan José Besa Vergara completed their education in the field of Structural Engineering. Juan José obtained a Licentiate degree in Structural Engineering from Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile in the period between 2005 and 2010. Later, they pursued further academic advancement and obtained a Master of Science (M.Sc.) degree in Structural Engineering from the same institution in the year 2010.
