Chris Pennello has over 13 years of professional experience in software engineering and development. In 2006, they began their career as a Software Engineering Intern at Tellme Networks, where they worked on mobile search initiatives. Chris then served as a Mathematics Tutor and SLC Instructor at UC Berkeley, before joining Redux, Inc. as Co-founder and CTO in 2007. In 2014, they became a Senior Staff Engineer and Architect at Crunchyroll, Inc., where they designed and implemented video player Quality of Service (QoS) metrics. In 2016, they moved to OpenTable as a Principal Software Engineer, where they designed and built internal service/tooling dashboards. Currently, they are a Technical Co-Founder at Wholesail, where they are building a trading network to modernize payment and communication between wholesale buyers and sellers.
Chris Pennello attended the University of California, Berkeley from 2003 to 2008, where they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering & Computer Science (EECS) and Mathematics.
