John Bowllan

John Bowllan is a seasoned data science professional with extensive experience in machine learning and data analysis. Currently serving as the Data Science Technical Lead at WHOOP since March 2021, John has previously held roles as a Data Scientist and Data Scientist II within the same organization. Prior to WHOOP, John worked at Faraday from June 2019 to March 2021, where responsibilities included building production ML services for customer lifetime value estimation and product recommendations, as well as implementing models for customer engagement and personalization. John's experience also includes a tenure as a Machine Learning Research Assistant at the National Science Foundation in 2018. John holds a Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics from Middlebury College and has pursued additional education through the Budapest Semesters in Mathematics, Deerfield Academy, and School Year Abroad.
