Karl Ide-Pech

Karl Ide-Pech is a seasoned mechanical engineer with extensive experience in test development and manufacturing. Currently serving as a Senior Test Development Engineer at WHOOP since December 2020, Karl is responsible for the mechanical aspects of the manufacturing test equipment ecosystem and has successfully designed over 22 unique fixture designs. Previous roles include Manufacturing Test Development Engineer 2 and Electromechanical Test Development Engineer at WHOOP, where contributions were made to the conceptualization and implementation of custom testing equipment. Prior to WHOOP, Karl worked as a Mechanical Engineer at RSE: Robots in Service of the Environment, developing underwater robots, and held various engineering positions at iRobot, contributing to innovative cleaning systems and receiving a patent for a mechanism on the Braava M6 robot. Karl completed a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering at Wentworth Institute of Technology in 2017.
