Tyler Schmid

Tyler Schmid is a Manufacturing Engineer II at WHOOP since May 2025, with previous experience at Cytrellis Biosystems, Inc. from June 2021 to June 2025, where responsibilities included supporting manufacturing processes for the Ellacor System and executing various engineering change orders and quality control measures. Prior to this, Tyler worked as a self-employed Combustion Engine Mechanic, managing over 60 engine repair projects. Additionally, Tyler has held various roles at Lehigh University, including Orientation Coordinator, Orientation Leader, and Tour Guide, contributing to student transition programs and campus tours. Tyler’s engineering internship at Crystal Engineering Co. involved designing and assembling components for manufacturing processes, further complemented by early experience as an Assistant Mechanic Intern and Kennel Assistant. Tyler graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering and a Minor in Aerospace Engineering from Lehigh University in 2021.
