Karl Stakes

Karl Stakes has a diverse work experience spanning over 12 years. Karl started their career at Hutchinson 3G UK Limited in 2008, where they held various roles including Regional Manager and Refit Program and Roll Out Manager. In 2013, they became the Head of Performance and Planning and held that position until 2015.

In 2015, Karl joined WHSmith as the Head of Travel Operations and Franchise, a role they held until 2017. Karl then moved to WHSmith Australia, where they served as the Director of Operations from 2017 to 2020.

In 2020, Karl returned to WHSmith as the Head of Trading Operations, where they currently hold the position.

Karl Stakes attended King Edward VII School from 1986 to 1988, focusing on the field of Science. Prior to that, they studied at High Park School from 1981 to 1986. In addition to their education, Karl obtained a certification as a Divemaster (DM) from PADI in 2018.
