Claudia Gomez is an accomplished journalist with extensive experience in radio and television reporting. Currently serving as a fill-in mid-day radio news anchor at WHYY since June 2018, Claudia's prior roles include an Emmy-Award-winning reporter at WTXF-TV from May 2001 to June 2013, and a freelance reporter at KTLA in 2000. Claudia's career began as a news reporter at KOLO Television and continued with journalist positions at KMAX TV and as a staff writer for the 10 O'Clock News at KTLA. Claudia received a Bachelor of Science in Journalism from Boston University and studied at the University of California, Berkeley. Notably, Claudia was nominated for an Emmy Award for coverage of the LA riots.
