Laura Thistle

Laura Thistle is an experienced Digital Product Manager at WHYY since September 2019, overseeing the design and development of digital products for Philadelphia's leading public media organization. Previous roles include Digital Associate Producer and Social Media Intern at Cape Publishing and freelance photographer and creative contributor at the Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts. Laura has held positions such as Program Coordinator for the Low Residency MFA Program at the Institute of Contemporary Art at the University of Pennsylvania and Marketing and Communications Intern at the Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts. Academic credentials include a Bachelor’s Degree in Fine and Studio Arts from Georgetown University, a Master’s Degree in Fine Arts from the Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts, and various certificates in Product Management, Web and Interactive Design, and Digital Media from General Assembly and Moore College of Art and Design.
