Steven Dixon

Steven Dixon is an experienced media professional currently serving as the Manager of Media Instruction at WHYY since September 2007. In this role, Steven oversees the production of a video tutorial series aimed at enhancing multimedia learning experiences for youth. Previously, as a Video Producer, Steven developed WHYY's inaugural youth television program, "Young Creators Studio," and managed various video projects within the education department. Prior to that, as a Senior Media Instructor, Steven supported educators in implementing multimedia curriculum and provided direct media instruction to students. Earlier experience includes working as a Multimedia Technician at West Chester University, where responsibilities encompassed video production services and technical support for events. Steven holds a Bachelor of Arts in Communication and Media Studies from West Chester University and a diploma in Theater/TV from the Philadelphia High School for the Creative and Performing Arts.
