Ellen Gao

Ellen Gao is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in cultural preservation and business development. As Chairwoman of the Global Ancient Culture Foundation since July 2012, Ellen has been dedicated to the exploration and promotion of ancient civilizations and their influence on contemporary society. At WI Harper Group, where Ellen has been a Venture Partner since October 2008, management of government relations and investments in IT, clean tech, smart grid, and new energy sectors is a primary focus. Previously, Ellen served as the Chief Representative for Red Herring in Greater China from June 2003 to June 2008, overseeing operations and coverage of technology innovation in the Asia Pacific region. Ellen holds a Master’s degree in Mass Communications from Nanjing University.
