Jay Penske

Mr. Penske is the founder, Chairman, and CEO of PMC. Under his leadership, PMC’s digital media network of brands has expanded to include leading entertainment sites and award shows known for their original content and premium user experiences. PMC was recently named a Top100 Private Company by Red Herring, and his company’s brands have been featured in top media including The Wall Street Journal, The New York Times, USA Today, Red Herring, Forbes, CNBC, Reuters, and CNN. Prior to establishing PMC, Mr. Penske was a co-founder and chairman of Firefly Mobile Inc. Firefly Inc. developed the Firefly mobile phone and other youth-targeted mobile products. Beyond his media and publishing ventures, Mr. Penske is the owner of the IndyCar racing team Dragon Racing since 2005, and since its inception, the team has donated more than $1,250,000 to charity. Additionally, Mr. Penske owns and operates a rare bookstore that sells rare and first edition novels in Los Angeles.

Mr. Penske graduated from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania, with concentrations in Finance and Management Information Systems. Jay currently sits on the Board of Directors or Advisory Board of the following companies: PMC, India.com Media Corp, Penske Corporation, and Dragon Racing, LLC. And was a former Board member of the University of Pennsylvania Library, and the Wharton Entrepreneurial Program.
