Sean Peng

Mr. Sean Peng has over 20 years of experience spanning the high-tech industry, direct investment, and fund management in Greater China. He currently serves as a Senior Partner of the Beijing office and focuses on operations, portfolio management, and investment opportunities in China.

Mr. Peng currently sits on the Board of Airwing Technology (Industrial AI Drone), Shuqi Data Technology (AI Big data for auditing), CloudBrain (AI Financial Technology), Datablau (Data Management), and Ophoenix Capital Management (focus on growth opportunities in China’s automotive sector). His previous investments include Getui Holding (SSE: 300766), Medical System (SSE:603990), China Railway Technology (HKSE:01522), One Force Technology (HKSE:01933), A10 Networks (NYSE: ATEN), Alpha Omega Semiconductor (NASDAQ: AOSL), Spreadtrum Communication (NASDAQ: SPRD), Monolithic Power System (NASDAQ: MPWR), OmniVision (NASDAQ: OVTI), NetIQ (NASDAQ: NTIQ), Semiconductor Manufacturing International Corporation (NYSE: SMI), Axiomtek (TSE: 3088), Spintronic Technology (TSE: 3536), Wistron (TSE: 3231), Everfocus (TSE: 5484), Arima Communication (TSE: 8101).

Prior to his time with WI Harper, Mr. Peng was a Managing Director at H&Q Asia Pacific where he was responsible for direct investments in the Greater China region. Before joining H&Q AP in 2002, Mr. Peng was a Senior Vice President of Fortune Venture Investment Group where he was responsible for venture capital investments in the U.S. and Greater China. Mr. Peng also served as the President of Golden Technology Venture Investment Corp. and Emerging Technology Venture Investment Corp. Previously, Mr. Peng spent seven years with LSI Logic Corporation as an R&D engineer in the U.S. and a Marketing Manager in the Asia Pacific region.

Mr. Peng received his EMBA from Peking University, his MBA from Santa Clara University, and his Master's degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Texas at Austin.
