Hiroshi Harada

Hiroshi Harada serves as Vice Chair of IEEE 802.15.4ad and holds multiple leadership roles within the Wi-SUN Alliance, including Chair of the Board of Directors and Chair of the HAN Working Group. As a Professor and Chairperson at Kyoto University’s Graduate School of Informatics, Hiroshi oversees courses in Communications and Computer Engineering. Hiroshi also functions as Research Executive Director at the Wireless Networks Research Center of NICT. With a history of executive positions in various organizations, including the Cabinet Office of the Government of Japan and IEEE, Hiroshi has made significant contributions to telecommunication standards and research, supported by advanced degrees in the field from Osaka University.
