Karl Schlatter is a seasoned software engineer with extensive experience in developing and architecting complex software systems. Currently serving as Principal Software Engineer at Wi-Tronix, LLC since November 2012, Karl focuses on the On-Board software for the Wi-PU, a device that collects and analyzes data from mobile assets in real-time. Prior to this role, Karl was the Enterprise Infrastructure Architect at InStep Software, LLC, where responsibilities included leading the architecture of eDNA, an enterprise data historian for real-time operations and engineering data management. Earlier in their career, Karl worked as Project Architect at Geneer for GE Fanuc’s VersaPro and Giddings and Lewis’ PicPro, and as a Senior Engineer at ABB Impell Corporation, where Karl developed PbShielding for Windows, a tool for analyzing lead shielding in nuclear power systems. Karl holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the Illinois Institute of Technology.
