Lauren D'Angelo

Lauren D'Angelo, MBA, currently serves as Chief Operating Officer and Chief Commercial Officer at Alpha Cognition, Inc., where responsibilities include spearheading global commercial strategies and overseeing corporate communications, marketing, sales, and business development for a pharma start-up focused on Alzheimer's and neurodegenerative diseases. As a founding member of Alpha Seven Therapeutics, Inc., Lauren also plays a crucial role in developing and commercializing therapies for traumatic brain injury. Additionally, Lauren is involved in Women In Bio's Boardroom Ready program to promote women's participation on corporate boards and provides strategic advisory services to PharmaAcuity. Previous positions include Vice President of Marketing and Commercial Strategy at Urovant Sciences, Senior Director at Avanir Pharmaceuticals, and several key marketing roles at AstraZeneca. Lauren holds a Bachelor of Science in Management Information Systems and Finance from Florida State University and an MBA from the University of Florida.
