Curtis Shahan has extensive experience in the technology field, starting in 1995 at WFISD where they provided computer and network support and conducted technology training for staff and teachers. Curtis then worked as the District Network Administrator at Burkburnett ISD from 1998 to 2004. From 2003 to 2017, Curtis served as the Vice President of Information Technology at Midwestern Mud Service, overseeing the IT operations for an oil field drilling fluids company. Curtis then joined Comanche Public Schools in 2016 as the Director of Technology Services until 2021. Currently, Curtis is the Director of Technology at Wichita Falls ISD.
Curtis Shahan graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Science from Midwestern State University, where they attended from 1988 to 2004. Prior to that, they completed their high school education at Rider High School in Wichita Falls, TX, from 1986 to 1988. Curtis also holds a certification in ITIL from AXELOS Global Best Practice, which they obtained in January 2019.
