Ryan Gauna, CPCU

Ryan Gauna, CPCU, has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Ryan began their career in 1999 as a Professional Sales Representative at Merck. Ryan then moved on to Abbott as a Neuroscience Sales Specialist from 2002 to 2005. In 2006, they worked at NitroMed as a Cardiovascular Sales Specialist. Ryan joined State Farm ® in 2007, where they held two roles: Public Affairs Specialist - Community and Media Relations from 2007 to 2010, and later, as a Government Affairs Coordinator from 2010 to 2020. In 2020, they joined Hippo Insurance as an Agent until 2021 when they became a Business Development Manager at Wickfire. Throughout their career, Ryan Gauna has demonstrated a strong ability to adapt to different industries and roles.

Ryan Gauna, CPCU has a Bachelor's degree in English/Kinesiology from The University of Texas at Austin, which they obtained from 1993 to 1997. Prior to that, they attended Amarillo High School from 1989 to 1993. In terms of additional certifications, Ryan obtained their Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU) designation from The Institutes in June 2018. Ryan also obtained a General Lines (Property & Casualty) certification from the Texas Department of Insurance in July 2019.
