Chris Buckland

Chris Buckland has over 30 years of experience in the audio broadcasting and technology sectors. Currently at WideOrbit since November 2012, Chris serves as a Technical Applications Support Engineer and Solutions Architect, focusing on the design and support of computer systems for audio asset management. Previous roles include Manager of Production and Implementation and Implementation Specialist at WideOrbit, where responsibilities involved the installation and training of audio systems for radio. Prior to WideOrbit, Chris worked as an Audio Systems Analyst at Greater Media, managing networks for audio storage and providing technical support. Experience also includes a Senior Studio Systems Engineer role at Broadcast Electronics, where consultation and support of audio automation systems were provided, and various positions in broadcasting from 1992 through 1996. Chris holds certifications as a Certified Novell Engineer and has a degree from Shepherd University.
